Our mission is to mentor small and startup businesses, build key relationships, and grow our companies within our community.

The Family is made up of many different businesses in Gwinnett County. We are focused on helping companies grow by offering mentorship programs helping businesses in Gwinnett County GA. 

Founded in 2012 by Ann LaFavor The Family has built a growing network of business professionals in Gwinnett County by attending many networking events and key important business trips. Once a year, our main event is our Black History Celebration in February, in which we honor and recognize our ladies of distinction.  In June we recognize our men of distinction at our Juneteenth Celebration.

Our business mentorship program plays a crucial role in fostering professional growth, skill development, and overall success for both mentees and mentors. These structured relationships provide a platform for experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders to share their knowledge, insights, and guidance with individuals looking to advance their careers or start their own ventures.

Today, many of the startups that The Family helped grow, are realizing their dream of business success. The Family has helped many businesses brand, network, and find new business opportunities with contracts. All business owners are welcome to meet with us and develop your business.
